is it me or "casting" time of these attack skills is what makes them elite?

I have no clue what the question/comment here is. Referring to 'elite' only one is an elite skill. If you mean good? yes, that is why they are usefull because of the fast launch time and flight speed, and lack of 'aftercast'.

but is it so good that only two non-interrupt skills and one being elite should exist with such fire rate?

Seeing as how quick shot lets you nearly double your firing rate, yes. (Bow auto-attack with quick shots between attacks)

Quick Shot used to have a 1/2 second cast time, which increased your rate of fire supa fast.

but there should exist more skills like those...

for example... i often find myself angry when checking for skills because the only ones that are quick fired are interrupts... but i don't want to interrupt all the time...

but i guess that making more would make the ranger a very powerful profession...

... yessss and we can't have that, can we .... :s

Needling shot is not an elite, it pays for that with a conditional recharge.

get a IAS stance or FW if you want to shoot faster :S...

anshin, youre actually missing the fact WHY interrupts are a fast "cast".

FW doesn't make you shoot faster, but it makes your arrow move faster.

Has anyone tried Serpent's Quickness with Quickshot?

Just like SQ with Barrage, it doesn't work.

i understand perfectly the point of the interrupts... that is why i didn't mention them...

needling shot can be considered less elite... but there is a reason why it has such an important drawback... and this doesn't erase the point that there should be more of these type of attacks except one elite and another single attack....

Perhaps, I've searched for one right after Incendiary got buffed. I wouldn't mind a few more of those, but .... with 3 or 4 of them, you could be firing constantly at about 1 shot/second. Probably to powerfull.

sq doesnt work with 1 sec recharge times. it brings it down to something like .66 sec recharge, and then it rounds it up to 1

But quickshot works well with a r/rt with warmongers weapon.

IMO, needling shot is better than quick shot in all aspects. idk why quick shot was made... its not like rangers need adrenaline or something. with so many better choices for both pve and pvp, it just doesnt do the job.

Yeah Glass Arrows and Melandrus Arrows make Needling Shot more useful than Quick Shot. At least in PvE, once somet goes below 50% it goes down fast. Difference is it does a fixed amount of damage over 1 dependant on armour and Marksmanship which can be more powerful in PvP.
